12 December 2006 GeoCommunity 1.0.6 for Joomla! is now available. This version fixes some minor bugs. Also this version doesn't require that you have Community Builder installed on your site. You now have the option of either displaying CB profiles or not. Also added to the admin panel a facility to view the Geobot activity log file. Very useful for debugging and remote assistance. Existing GeoCommunity users: You can download this version and all future versions from the "Files download" board on our support forum. Please send an email to

We are pleased to announce that GeoCommunity 1.0.4 beta is now available for preview here http://www.freelance-park.com/joomla/component/option,com_geo_community/Itemid,42/ . This extension is with Community Builder profile support, which links users on the map to their Community Builder profiles. As the database is a little inconsistent at the moment, some problems locating users on the map may arise, but eventually will go away. GeoCommunity for Joomla! is an Joomla! component and a mambot. The mambot collects user information when users visit the website. (P.S Some GeoVisitors module users wanted to collect Geo information without displaying the map, well this is what you asked for) The component displays the collected information using a Google map. Visitors are indicated by a marker which corresponds to the recency of the visitor. Recent visitors are indicated by lighter colors. |
